How long does the work usually take?
The length of time varies on how and what condition the parts are in. Typically small jobs take 1-2 weeks and larger jobs 3-4 weeks. A total restoration may take 2 months.

How is the pricing done?
The estimators look at three things. One would be the condition of the part, two would be how many man hours it will take to complete the job, and three would be the size of the part.

What are the methods of payment?
For mail order we only accept VISA or MASTERCARD. Local customers can pay by check, cash, or money order. For local customers we can only accept credit cards for jobs 1,000 dollars and above.

What is triple plating?
Triple Plating is copper, nickel, chrome. Most of our jobs require only nickel, chrome. The copper is only needed for die cast parts. Customers can get triple plating on anything , but there is additional fee.

Can you chrome aluminum?
Yes we can do most small aluminum parts. Anything longer than 3 feet can only be polished.

How long is the work guaranteed?
Pacific Plating offers a one year warranty on everything, but quad pipes. Some pipes will turn blue and that is not our fault. But we use the best nickel and leave the pipe in the tank for longer time, so this is usually not a problem.

Do you do wheels?
At this moment we are sorry to say that we do not do wheels.

What are your business hours?
We are open M-F 8am-4pm PST. We do close for most Major holidays.
